My dad and I had the opportunity to go from La Paz to Puerto Chale for an incredible boat ride in an area where grey whales go to feed and calve. The entire experience was PERFECT, from the easy ride to/from La paz, to the private trip with Captain Carlos and our guide Fernanda, finishing up with delicious tacos and quesadillas . We couldn’t have asked for a better day! Whales were spouting and spy hopping all around us and a few curious ones surprised us by surfacing right next to our boat, gently cruising alongside us before rolling underneath it and off on their way. Most importantly, you could tell how completely relaxed the whales were. It felt like everything was on their terms and we were just lucky enough to experience it all. I would do this again in a heartbeat and highly recommend to everyone!
